Started in 2006, this Irish team competes regularly in the UCI Europe Tour. Sean Kelly and Kurt Bogaerts are in charge of the squad decisions. An Post Chain Reaction bet could pay off very well given that the team has a good record in the Tour of Britain. Undoubtedly one of the strongest teams at the 2016 Tour of Britain, Movistar Team are expected to make it a successful 2016 with a win. Nairo Quintana finished third in the general classification for riders at the Tour de France 2016. The 26-year-old is expected to continue his form.

However, they are still waiting for their first major success of 2016.

The last five years has been extremely successful for Team Sky especially with regard to Tour de France. Team Sky remain the only British outfit to have had a British rider win the Tour of Britain. Cannondale Drapac Pro may have been included into the World Tour only recently, but the multinational team roster has been a success of late. It was formed as a result of the merger between Cannondale and Drapac Pro. Since 2015, the team has ventured into a new level after the fusion of Italian and US squads. Caja Rural are one of the strongest outfits at the Spanish La Vuelta even though they have been in the professional scene only since 2010. Even though the team has primarily dominated mountainous stages, they are a good bet for the 2016 Tour of Britain which less tough than the 2015 edition.

Even though they initially competed only in small events, they have since gone international with success through riders like Philippe Gilbert.
